Activities:

The area has several leisure lakes with man made beaches and the rivers have many areas designated for swimming.  There are numerous facilities for watersports as well as tennis and horse riding. There is also an excellent network of well signposted footpaths suitable for walkers, cyclists and horse riders, with detailed illustrated maps available from the local tourist office. There are 3 golf courses within a 35 minute radius each offering different challenges.

Fishing:

Limited fishing of our own private lake is possible by prior arrangement. The lake is a good mixed fishery of approximately two acres, is well stocked with roach, rudd, tench, bream, pike and carp (common, ghost and mirror).  Please kindly observe the 'no keep nets' and 'no kill' policy. 
As keen anglers we can also advise on where to fish locally and assist with day/week permits if necessary. Both the Gartempe and Vienne rivers offer excellent fishing and there are many other well-stocked fishing lakes nearby.
