In a prime location between Chauvigny and Montmorillon, La Groge is set in 30 acres of mixed woodland and pasture with private fishing, our aim is to offer a warm welcome in a relaxed, peaceful environment. 

The 'longere' style house is about 150 years old, carefully modernised, retaining much of the original character and charm with exposed stonework, beams and large open fireplace.

Standing on the terrace is quite breathtaking with stunning views across the lake and the valley beyond and has been described by guests as 'un véritable paradis'

Feel free to wander around the grounds, observe our small herd of fallow deer or simply relax by the lake, where if you are patient you may be rewarded by a glimse of the Kingfishers.
